Land development is complicated. I make it manageable.
I'm Peter Thicke, a land use planner and development manager with a decade of experience in British Columbia. Whether you're testing the feasibility of a new site or pushing a project through approvals, I bring the expertise to move things forward — with fewer surprises and less time lost.
Services
From the first question about a site to the day construction starts, I guide projects through every stage of the early development process — feasibility, approvals, and project management — so nothing gets lost along the way.
Project Management
Good development management means nothing slips through the cracks. Whether you need someone to lead the full process or step in to support a specific phase, I can keep your project moving — coordinating the right people at the right time, and holding the line on schedule and budget.
Feasibility Studies
Before committing to a site, you need to know what's actually possible. I can assess what will work for the land, coordinate early design testing, and map a clear path to a building permit — so you can make your investment decision with confidence.
Rezoning and Permitting
Approvals processes are rarely straightforward. Having spent time on both sides of the table — as a municipal planner and as a private sector development manager — I know what applicants need to get right, and what municipal staff need to say yes.
About
Direct experience. Practical answers. Projects that get built.
PG Projects partners with general contractors, non-profits, developers, and municipalities to move housing and other developments forward. I've walked applications through council chambers, negotiated with municipal staff, written grant applications that got funded, and reported to funders when the numbers were complicated.
I'm Peter Thicke, MCIP RPP, a planner and development manager with a decade of experience navigating land use projects and policy in British Columbia. That background — spanning both public and private sectors, from managing a planning department in a small community to working for a leading provincial development company — lets me translate the complex early development process into a clear roadmap for success.
The result: fewer surprises, fewer delays, and a project that gets done.
